My S400 connects but it won't start a scan

The S400 system uses the weight feature to start a scan in self scan mode. If the weight feature of the turntable isn't working correctly please look at the article "Turntable has weight scale, but no weight detected".

If the turntable you have has the weight functionality disabled, you'll need to turn self scan off by going into "tools" then "capture". Once self scan is off you can start the turntable by pressing the "start scan" button
