How is the data saved? Do I need to back up my scans?

The data is saved locally on the machine with no identifying information. The data is also saved on secure Amazon AWS servers. When a scan is performed and processed the data immediately gets saved on the computer locally and also on our servers. Any computer that has a license associated to the same account will share the data. Because of this, there is no need to backup the scan data. If the computer no longer functions, then the computer can be activated on a different computer. Once activated all scans uploaded will be available.
